Schmidts SON 20 for 16"-20" 32H Disc

Description

Similar in appearance to the SON 28, the SON 20 is designed for use in wheel sizes ranging from 16 to 20 . Put simply, the hub is designed to operate at a higher RPM than the SON 28.
It is available in a range of different spoke hole numbers, anodized silver or black, and disc or non disc versions.
20 hubs can be used on larger wheels (26 and 700c) to achieve higher efficiency.
The only drawback is the light unit will not come up to full wattage as quickly, but when coupled with an LED front light, this becomes a small concern. A popular setup for Audax riders or training road racers.
