Merida eSPRESSO 700 EQ Women's Electric Bike - Teal Blue/Black

The Merida eSpresso 700 EQ Electric Hybrid Bike is a versatile hybrid with a dynamic design to suit your urban life and give you a comfortable ride. The eSpresso Lite Alloy  step-thru frame which is very easy to mount is paired with the Shimano E8035 630Wh Battery and E6100 60Nm Shimano STePS Drive Unit for all of the power you need on two wheels. The eSpresso is a pedal assist electric bike which means that when you pedal the drive unit kicks in and boosts your speed so that you can ride with ease.

The Suntour NEX E25 Suspension Fork can handle any bumps on your ride to improve comfort, especially when paired with the wider Continental Contact Cruiser tyres. The Merida Comp Aluminium rims are tough and durable, yet lightweight for easy control that can handle the extra weight of the e-bike components. You’ll be in complete control of all this power with the Shimano MT402 Hydraulic Disc Brakes which give you reliable braking control in all conditions, perfect if you ever get caught out commuting in the wet. This model leaves no stone unturned with front and rear lights equipped, as well as an Abus 5650 frame lock, lights, kickstand and rear rack. This ensures that this urban machine built to travel on bike paths, roads and even a little bit of dirt is ready for anything with no hassles. Compared to the 400 EQ, the 700 brings a bigger battery, improved tyres and better brakes for a ride that is just a little bit better across the board. Features

Prolite 66 Triple Butted Aluminium- Our proven high-end aluminium (6066) is extremely light and durable. Using triple butted wall thicknesses and hydroforming technology, we can tune the aluminium tubes to give the best possible stiffness to weight ratio.

Smart Entry- Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

X-Taper Headtube- Using a tapered head tube with 1 1/8" bearings in the top and 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" in the bottom creates superb stiffness and precise, confidence inspiring steering.

Smooth Welding- Sometimes called ‘double pass welding’, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance you will be convinced it is carbon.

Internal Cable- Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
