This chic and waterproof Up-Town Rack Urban basket is the ideal companion for convenient shopping, which, thanks to the Top-Lock adapter, can be easily carried on the luggage rack. With its urban textile look and a volume of 17.5 liters, it is perfect for a visit to the farmers market, a quick grocery run or strolling through the city. The central lid closure provides quick access without having to open the lid completely. Wallet, keys or smartphone can be stowed in the inner compartment with a zipper, while the inner stiffening and the bottom feet ensure stability during loading and unloading.
Not only is the initial assembly of the adapter to the luggage rack done in a jiffy, the attaching and detaching the basket is also child's play thanks to the unlocking handles on both sides.
A stable aluminum frame and a comfortable, adjustable handle complete the modern urban look and allow you to take the basket with you wherever you shop. For better visibility in road traffic, the luggage carrier basket is equipped with a bright reflector— an ORTLIEB standard. The maximum load of the basket is 10 kilograms / 22 lbs. The Up-Town Rack Urban is waterproof, PVC-free and sustainably made in Germany.
(Note: the Top-Lock adapter is compatible with most luggage racks of 60 to 140 millimeters in width and with a tube diameter of 8 to 16 millimeters.)
