The new range of extensions have evolved from our well proven T-Series.  They have been designed to offer distinct fit options.  We have also adopted a new naming system whereby the name gives the angle material of the extension.  Thus 43a is a 43° bend in aluminium.

Performance

The 43a extension offers a ‘wrist relief’ style bend that is intended to allow the extension to hug to the arm for improved aerodynamics without sacrificing wrist comfort.The 43 degree grip angle is based on testing with riders to find a common neutral configuration.

Fit Data

• The 43a has been designed to offer great ergonomics and cost effective aerodynamic enhancement.

• Along with the optimized angles it has a 7.5mm per side lateral offset to the grip to allow more options for hand position.

Orgin

Profile Design had great success with the T3 extension from our previous range of bars. The 43a is an enhanced version of that popular extension with more precise shaping to follow the riders arm.

Tech Guide

• All the extensions have a 22.2mm diameter in the clamping aera.
• They are designed for cables to be routed out the rear of the extensions so do not have cable exit holes.

Who is it for?

The extensions will fit in any aerobar that is designed for 22.2mm.  The 43a extension is a great option for any rider looking for a neutralwrist angle and positioning versatility.
